It's hilarious listening to Faldo trying to tell everyone this isn't over yet.... just to keep them from turning the channel.

I know he has to do it, but it's pathetic.

Idk what everyone is changing the channel to. There’s nothing else on. It’s 4:50 on a Sunday afternoon in April.

Also Faldo knows better than anyone when it’s “over”.

I'd never change my channel.... I can watch golf all day long.... love it!!

But the casual golf viewers likely all turned away.

I would venture a guess a lot of people that were on the fence probably don't want to keep watching if it's basically determined barring a massive collapse. (I get 3 shots isn't massive but it is very unlikely IMO)

Some of these made shots are worth watching.

I haven't watched much this year...it's the only thing on but the Masters' coverage is always really well done and a great 'we're here' event to bring on the spring.

I’m sure Viacom gives a **** after what we had to go through with Tiger this week.
Gunner how excited are you to watch Tiger again at the other majors + maybe a couple other big events this year?

Behind you
Not a golfer, don't watch much golf, but is this number of outrageously amazing shots typical at the Master's in a single round?

It won’t be anything like what we just had to go through over the past 7 days since he teased his comeback to steal all of the spotlight from the guys that could actually win. It’s obvious that CBS was TOTALLY SURPRISED that he was going to play.

Augusta on Sunday is always a great setup. The hole locations are usually set up for high risk/reward spots, plus you always have one of the best/if not THE best fields in golf. Usually makes for some great stuff.

If there's one thing I like most about Cam Smith, it is his reckless disregard for 2nd place. Dude just wants to win it, and you have to take chances to do that in this situation.

Winning post right there!

I can't stand golfers that are already set for life financially, that are in the position Cam was in, just still playing it safe and settling for 2nd place and a fat paycheck.

I want to see guys in that position going for every pin and trying to win it.

Now.... if you aren't set financially.... that can be a bit different.

The Open being at St. Andrews means plenty of Tiger coverage don't you worry.

His caddy has to be a little ticked. They usually get a percentage of winnings. So if he collapses, it costs him big money.

Agreed. Never know if you'll ever have the opportunity to only be a few shots back on the back 9 on Sunday at the Masters again. Gotta go for it when you do get that chance.

Cam Smith already has two huge money wins this year. I’m sure his caddy is fine with it.

Also Cam doesn’t strike me as the kind of guy that’s not going to throw him some $1,000 handshakes to make it all good if it is a problem.
