Terry Roberts from Bradley is in the Portal.

Newcomer of the Year in the Valley. 6-4 slashing guard that can play on or off the ball and a plus-plus defender. Would be an outstanding get though he'll have plenty of suitors.

Didn't they lose a bunch last off-season, too? I expect they'll once again be a major player in the transfer market and won't believe they're dead until I actually see it.

3 of the top 7 were on the 2020/21 roster. Shannon, McCullar and Santos-Silva who are 2 starters and #1 off the bench.

They are losing Williams, Obanor, Arms, Warren and Santos-Silva no matter what. If Shannon leaves.. You have 1 player Kevin McCullar back. He has a pro future and every year he waites, the values drops. Wouldn't be shocked to see him leave.

Can they find another 3-4 stud transfers. Absolutely, but they will lack what made them extra good this year. A solid core of 3 to build around

Eh, he's on his 3rd year of basketball and if his stats tell his story he's been pretty mediocre for 2 of them, with the 3rd being a year he played only 18 games. Might just be a bust
You right. Looking at his numbers he is a hard pass.

Yea his year 2 #'s are intriguing from a top line- 9.6ppg & 8.1rpg.

But he is a 6'7" forward who has shot 26% on 3pt attempts over Louisville career with a total of 76 3's attempted over the 3 years.

If we have 2-3 available scholarships this spring, he is a pass based on ISU's primary needs:
  • post
  • wing scorer
  • 3-point shooter

But if we have 4 or more scholarship available, he would be worth a look. Especially if TJ tries to go more up tempo next year- rebound & run.

It's pretty tough in the defensive minded Big12 to play slow. It allows defenses to get set up.

He is among multiple players under Mack who horribly regressed. He should have got the hell out of there after last season. He is from DFW and my guess is that he ends up at TCU, Tech, BU, OU, UT, A&M, UH or SMU. Prohm's staff was involved with him for awhile while in HS. If ISU has room for him, they will likely reach out.

Not saying I don’t believe this is all true or not for all of the transfers out there but I wonder how much of the “schools showing interest,” are actual schools that have reached out or if they’re just schools that the recruit/parent/handler have noted are showing interest in order to drum up some interest in the recruit. If I recall correctly there was atleast one or two transfers over the past couple years that CW has noted as the coaching staff did not reach out to yet the recruit said they were receiving interest.

Well if you look at his high school ranking, mixed with him being injured most of his time at Iowa State. Guessing a lot of teams will take a chance and see if he can get healthy and live up to his hype.
