So, where do we go from here?

Ideal offseason for me:

1. IZB returns
2. Jaz returns
3. AJ Green transfers to Iowa State
4. Land a high-level plus athlete for the frontcourt.

Starters next year:
G - Tyrese Hunter
G - AJ Green
G - Izaiah Brockington
F - Tre King
F - Stud Transfer

Best 3-4 of the following receiving bench minutes: Jaz, Grill, Jones, Enaruna, Eli King, Lipsey, Watson, transfer.

We have talented guards and wings coming in with Eli King, Tamin Lipsey, Tre King and Demarion Watson. From the transfer portal, Cyclones need an athletic post who can score and reliable, 3 point shooting.
I doubt Hunter declares for the draft. However Chet Holmgren would be a terrible player in the draft. He is way too skinny and weak.

I get that you said this is a wish list for you, but come on.

If we are doing fantasy land, I want Georges, Naz and the rest to get more eligibility and come back to ISU. That’s my ideal off-season.

What exactly is it that you feel is fantasy land? IZB returning? AJ Green transferring here? Landing an instant starter in the frontcourt via transfer portal? From what I have read if I had to guess I think there is a strong possibility 2 of 3 of those things occur.

You can't teach the touch he has at his size. You can help a player put on good weight. NBA teams will be more than happy to wait a year or two as he continues to develop his body, his feel for the game and versatility are pretty incredible for a player with that length.

With Gabe, IMO a lot depends on if he wants to play professionally overseas. If he does, he will come back. But maybe he wants to get on with life after college.

I thought he played much better late in the season when he started to emphasis his mid-range game. Would be curious if the staff sees something in his shooting technique to cause some of his shots to be SO FAR off. Or does he have a case of the Yips.

He's a great team guy, so I hope he's back. He'd make a solid 4 or 5th option on offense.
I learned something last night when reading up on Gabe. He broke a finger on his shooting hand ending his season a year ago at minnesota. Some may say it's just a finger, but one has to wonder if that factored into his shooting percentage dip this year

Well at least one option opened for Tre and Jaden at Murray state in the last couple of days. I think that would be an easy decision for them

I think that would be a good fit for both of them. Prohm has a bunch of guys graduating, so he's going to have spots to fill.

Every player...including walk-ons...plus coaches, admin assistants, trainers, practice facility janitors, and the local stray cat practices finishing around the rim for a minimum of one hour per day. Layup after layup after layup after layup. Then another hour playing 21 where no players can be further away from the basket than 5 feet.
I think another thing this would help with would be getting more FT attempts. In conference play, ISU was last in FTA. WVU and TTU both attempted nearly 120 more FTs than ISU.
