LSU and Wisconsin both really interesting match ups. Both have some good wins. Wisconsin in particular a couple bad losses and some really close calls against average teams.

Wisconsin is the worst team that could have gotten a 3 seed. They earned it, but you're talking about a team that's literally had everything go its way all year and is playing with fire. It will not shock me if they lose to Colgate.

41st overall seed. We got moved down one seed to keep bracketing principals which is probably why we got the favorable draw and location.

Eh having two 1 seeds and having TCU ahead of us (which is fine and have no argument there) basically made it so the 8/9 was off the table due to bracketing rules.

People tend to forget how much tinkering needs to be done to maneuver teams around to avoid conference and rematches in the first two rounds. We were easy to drop from the 8/9 line and then I would have to look closer at the 10 seeds to see if any got a boost due to bracketing rules.

Point is if we didn’t have those Q1 wins we are the field so yes they do matter.

Well, If ISU didn't have any of those quad one wins would only have 11 wins on the year.

Agree about the bounces going their way. Look at their results game by game. Lots of close calls for them. Realize final score doesn’t tell the whole story, but they’re clearly very bearable. Will be interesting to see how they play against a good defense.
