NET Rankings are Flawed

Team 3 and Team 1 have best resume by far..Team 4 is close to Team 1..but Team 3 and Team 1 SOS and SOR is just far superior to others and Team 3 with 9 Quad 1 wins.
ISU is Team 3 obviously. I don't care what ISU NET ranking is...Quality wins and SOR/SOS trumps everything else.
ISU wins Wednesday they are a lock for a 7 seed at worst IMO. Beat Baylor and they could jump to 5/6 seed.
Committee will reward quality wins over all other things when it comes to seeding.
OK, here is the rest of the table
The point being, 4 & 5 have better SOR, more quality wins and equal or better SOS and are 3 lines down on the seeding. VCU is approx. equivalent to Iowa (performance metrics wise) and are projected out.
Houston continues to be an outlier like Iowa. They are #4 in the NET and all experts have them no lower than a 4/5 seed. THEY HAVE ZERO Q1 WINS.

NET is NOT a resume ranking system!!! Don't treat it as such, because the committee doesn't either. They use NET to organize teams into Quadrants, and use the quadrant records to rank resumes.
we KNOW THIS...but the experts obviously don't because they're seeding these teams with 0 or 1 Q1 wins above soooo many teams that have way more and better SOR as well.
Considering Iowa State beat Iowa, I guess it is great they have a high NET ranking, even if it is higher than Iowa State. However, it does seem crazy that Iowa is the 2nd highest NET ranked team (Texas Tech is the highest) that Iowa Strate has beat.
If I remember correctly, the ad of the school cannot be in the room when their team is discussed
I know, but no way it’s not a favorable to have them on the committee. Scratch each other’s back even if they aren’t in the room.
But JP can say when TOE is being discussed-- "You want to seed them where? We beat em by 20."
Another day and another data point that Net is flawed. Ohio St takes a quad 3 loss at home to Nebraska and only drops 2 spots (20 to 22).
These things all go hand in hand though. NET absolutely matters and I will all but guarantee the NCAA will try to smooth out the model in the off season.
Starting to feel like we're going to end up a 6 seed if we win tonight.
These NET rankings continue to confound me. Not surprising I guess. But in the LATEST Bracketologists site which leans heavy on NET...these are the seeds they have for a few teams:

I wouldn't worry too much about that site's bracket. Their resume comparison tool is useful, but with that bracket, they're not trying to predict what the committee will do; they're showing what the bracket would look like if it was based entirely on NET.
