The parking info we received just said we will actually pick a spot this year and that every spot will have a “grassy area” in front of it.
sounds like it will be more like an actual RV park spot rather than the free for all of the past.
Just checking to see if anyone has in local or insider knowledge on the new RV lot?

Nothing is going on in the way of grading or excavation yet if that is what you are asking.

Yes, it will be more of a traditional RV parking spot. The majority will be paved but there some gravel spots too due to budget constraints. There will be power hook-ups for most of the spots.

As for the power hook up, do we know if it will be 50/30 amp like an rv park or just a 110 outlet?

Will you be allowed only 1 vehicle per spot or will they be big enough to bring you car in with you?

I don't know that they've even considered this yet at this point but probably not unless theres room in front or behind of the RV without block the drives.

Edit: as other with have pointed out, only 1 vehicle.

Each pedestal is supposed to have a minimum of a 50A, 30A, and 20A receptacle.

Construction is supposed to begin soon with some work near the golf course for an outlet pipe. The goal is to have it all done well enough in advance of the season so any laid turf can get established.

Pollard would have quite a bit of egg on his face if this isnt completed by start of season since they upped donation to $3750 and increased parking fee to $250 for RVs.
Currently construction schedule has it slated to begin March 1st with substantial completion by August 26th.

Will be interesting to see how this works because in the D lots there were several RVs that also had a car there.
This is from the ISU/cyclone club website for 2022 parking

"RV parking is limited to one vehicle total within the lot."

This is the first I've heard that there will not be power to all sites-also that not all sites would be paved.
