I just hope we see Parker peak! He hasn't looked like himself. Last couple years he's been extremely difficult to take down. Doesn't seem the case this year.
I’m down for that too. It would be very crazy if Parker never makes AA given how good he’s been and the people he’s beaten.
Reminds me of Tanner Weatherman or Mitch Mueller type careers. I believe both were multiple time blood rounders and very solid multiple year starters for Iowa State, but don't think ever AA. They also seemed to do things right!
Tanner, Mueller, Passolano and Cole Sanderson are the only ISU guys in the 4x qual/0x AA club.
Tanner was a 3x blood-rounder. Cole and Mueller were 2x blood-rounders.
if Tanner had this staff coaching him, he would’ve been a 2-3x AA
I may be way off, but I think there's a can of whoop ass going to be opened tonight. Team is focused and knows what this dual means.
I thought Tanner was 4x R12? Either way that's a tough task being top 12 in your weight 3 or 4 years straight
He went 0-2 his junior year. Lost to an unseeded Cal Poly guy (they only seeded 16 then), and his conso match was against the 4 seed, who had also gotten upset in the first round.
His first two years, he got knocked to the backside by a former ISU guy.
Didn't he get beat by McFadden of VT his senior year? True freshman that Tanner beat during the season.
