125 ISU 3-0. ** I think we see ISU back on track and finish against Surtin for a big win. **

133 ISU 6-0. ** Doesn't matter if it's Crawford or Brown sent out there. **

141 ISU 9-0. ** Parker with another ho-hum 5-2 win with 5:47 of riding time. **

149 ISU 12-0. ** The Missouri kid is a fearless freshman, but I'm counting on the Old Man tricks to eek out another nail biter/hair pulling win. **

157 ISU 16-0. ** Jacques is good. Jacques is also in trouble because David is still mad about UNI and how that ended. **

165 ISU 16-6. ** O'Toole is the best wrestler in the country in this weight class and he is a gorilla on top. **

174 ISU 16-9. ** Doesn't matter if it's Mocco or Harman, I just don't have confidence in this weight right now. **

184 ISU 19-9. ** I'm being conservative because I think Marcus comes back strong this week. **

197 ISU 22-9. ** Should have won this match last year when he didn't know what he was doing. Will win this match this year against another tough guy. **

285 ISU 22-12. ** Elam is big and talented and a tough matchup right now. **

Super glad that @Tigerguy_ is posting more often. Hard to disagree with many of your picks.

I think we drop one of 25/33/49. Those are all tossups in my book and I don’t see how ISU gets them all.

Also worried about bonus at 74.

I think this is probably best case scenario for the dual. I could see it, but 125, 141,149, and 197 will all be tough matches. I think we win 2 of the 4 which ultimately costs us the dual. Hopefully they come out with more energy than UNI and surprise me

I agree. Seems like of the 3 it would be 33.

I think we drop '49 but Devine comes back at 74. I also think we drop one of the 1st three weights. ISU 19-15.

I think 49 will be wild. Have watched Edmond a bit and he’s talented but pretty sloppy. I’m expecting fireworks in that one.

Is Hart expected to miss this dual for Mizzou? If so I agree with @Tigerguy_

I think Edmond being aggressive plays into Degen's favor. Gfeller pinned Edmond.

Did he say anything interesting?
1st time on this year.
Talked about the team living right and doing things right.
Lots of talk about David Carr
Biggest match is the next one.
Staying healthy this time of year.
Degen hasn't missed a practice this year, usually only practiced 15% of the time because of injury

Still thinking we see Degen peak in March. Will that peak be as good as it was a couple years ago? I dunno, but he will be a dangerous out.

Agree. I think he’s a dangerous out because in a tourney a guy might be more likely to press and try and tango with him. And when another guy is trying stuff, that’s when the preying mantis feeds.
