Same for basketball IMO. Idk if it’s the style of play or the facility but it’s borderline awkward watching a game there.

It's gameday production. UNI is awful at it and always has been. It's a building that should be a pit for basketball but isn't because they refuse to upgrade lighting and put any resources into improving the presentation. That will be PAINFULLY clear tomorrow night.

And hey, we play fast now. Top half of the country in tempo.

I haven't been to a game in there since grad school which was right before the KU upset year so maybe it's gotten worse or something but I do not remember it being that bad. I mean, it wasn't like Duke/North Carolina or something but I remember it being adequate at least.

It is bad for wrestling, but I’m not sure if that is necessarily because it’s a bad venue or because it’s usually empty. It’s sounding like a good turnout tomorrow, so we’ll know better after that.

I've been there a few times for hoops I like the way you can watch the game while getting concessions, not really a bad seat in the house. I prefer it over the Knapp Center but to each their own.

I've been there a few times for hoops I like the way you can watch the game while getting concessions, not really a bad seat in the house. I prefer it over the Knapp Center but to each their own.

The Knapp Center might be the worst 'arena' ever constructed.

It's a staging area for the track meet that they happen to play basketball in.
