ISU +12 vs KU

High, but seeing that we just lost by 13 to a lower ranked team, not too much of a surprise.
We'll need to prove ourselves to earn respect from the oddsmakers.

Vegas knows...KU it is. until we find an offense got to go with KU. Hoping for a really good game (that we win) but if we lose its respectable then texas because a must win to keep the wheels from falling off. this is a tough schedule.
That's a pretty big number. I rarely bet on ISU games but I would take ISU with confidence on that one.
It's at KU and they are coming off a loss so I am expecting them to be out for blood against a ranked team to make a point. Would not shock me 1 bit if we lose this game by double digits. Go check out KU's scores, their offense averages 83.1 PPG which if this game gets into the mid 70's I don't like our chances given how we shot the ball the last 2 games.
I'm actually surprised we only fell to 15 in the rankings after how we played last week as I thought we didn't look like a top 25 team in those 2 game and would fall closer to 20. Our next 3 games are a meat grinder against 3 ranked team. Coming out of it 2-1 would be best case scenario but if we don't start shooting the ball better 1-2 is more likely with the 1 win coming against Texas at Hilton.

I think this will be our biggest loss of the year, we shot well Saturday and Ku coming off a loss, shooting poorly against someone they should have beat and playing in Allen Fieldhouse...sounds like a bad combo, think we bounce back Saturday though
Agreed... I'm mentally preparing for a brutal game. We didn't have our legs on Saturday, and have one less day than usual layoff as well.

Have you watched KU this year? They’re really not that good from what I’ve seen. I’m sure they’ll get better as the season goes on.
It's crazy to think how much the expectations have changed for this team since coming into the season. If you gave us an option before we played a game that this team would finish above .500 on the season and make the NIT nearly everyone here would have taken that. Now that this team has been ranked in the top 10 all the sudden some think we're in contention to win the conference.
This team has exceeded my expectations beyond anything I could have thought of and made me a believer that TJ was the right hire after being skeptical of it when it happened. That being said I think we are playing with house money right now as our defense is going to keep us in a lot of games this season but if we don't figure it out on offense we're going to struggle on nights our opponents are shooting the ball well. Our ceiling right now seems to be the low 70's against good teams and given the talent in the Big 12 even if we play tough defense we are going to lose a lot of close games if we can't break 80 every now and then.

True...but we are discussion a 12 point dog spread here. That's not a small number.
I thought that early on when they lost to Dayton but they put up some big scores since then. Enaruna played 2 season at KU and did not average more than 10 minutes a game as a 4 star recruit. He's playing over 17 minutes as a starter for us and only played 20+ minutes in 4 games this season so what does that say about our talent on this roster?

And OU was like a 6.5 favorite, which seemed a little high to me, then ... doubled it.
I think everyone is pleased and surprised how good we are especially compared to last year, but also very well aware of how hard its going to be to get to 9-9.

I think this is the first game we are down early and never in it and get beat soundly and this board will be unbearable.
