I honestly don’t care if he chose to opt out just like I don’t care that breece did and wouldn’t care if Kolar did. These guys gave it all to the program and deserve to be their best going into the combine.

We better put Randy Peterson on this one
See what starting stupid threads like this does? I had to give a hawkeye fan a thumbs up.I’m a Hawk fan but actually have a connection here. My understanding is that he wanted to play, but wasn’t 100%. Campbell sat him down and said he needed to look to his future first. class move by your coach.
But, but, but, he opted out. Is that right all you complainers, Quit your Beotching and thank them for all the times they made us proud to be Cyclones.Heard that he was planning on playing, then he reaggravated his injury.
According to NFL Mock Draft, he is a projected 4th rounder. Probably worth sitting out for honestly. We heard INJURY most of the way, but the announcers (who are idiots, I know) brought up that Rose chose not to play. I don't wanna hear rumors from everyone, I wanna know from someone that actually KNOWS for sure, one way or the other.
I doubt Rose is going to run a 4.5 forty at the combine- so on field at senior bowl can reinforce his ISU production.
I dont really care. He was a goddamn warrior his entire career. If he was too hurt to play or needed to get right for the draft, he deserves it. It’s one ****ing game after he started something like 49 of 50 possible games.
Knott ended playing middle of the season because of a shoulder injury. He could have played through it but made a career decision mid season. I actually heard this from a parent of a player on the team who sat in front of me. The parent knew going in that it was going to be Knotts last game as a Cyclone. I think it was against Baylor.was it AJ Klein or Knott that played through a shoulder separation? Multiple games.
Rose is to play in one of those 'senior' bowls or 'shriner' bowls, can't recall which. Wonder if he plays.
Think both statements are actually right. He played injured all year and chose to shut it down to start recovering. We heard INJURY most of the way, but the announcers (who are idiots, I know) brought up that Rose chose not to play. I don't wanna hear rumors from everyone, I wanna know from someone that actually KNOWS for sure, one way or the other.
He was originally injured vs K State, which was why he was taken off the field 3 times vs OSU and didn't play vs WVU. He's been an absolute warrior for us the entire year. If he was able to go he would have played today. The man is a Cyclone legend and always laid it all out on the field for us and will forever have my gratitude
