At Wifeypoo's insistence, I got my booster a couple weeks back. Like my original (J&J) shot, no ill effects whatsoever.
12/1 I go to get tested, as my (still at home) daughter actually had covid, and had quarantined in our basement, and we were going to visit my in-law and parents. Guess who tested positive? Zero symptoms, but I quarantined until this past Saturday. It's weird--slept in the same bed with my spouse the whole time and she got a negative test.

Good it was a safe outcome so far.

My case was likely March 2020 just prior to everything going down before tests were avvailable etc. and I couldn't believe anyone I was in contact with didn't test positive for ABs.

Not exactly sure.

Have you done an AB test? An actual titers level one not just up or down? Having had it before most, that may be an interesting one.

Was never able to get the numbers.

Was actually negative for them at the Dr. two months after I showed positive, but then the Red Cross showed positive until my first vaxx dose which was almost a year removed. I asked and their test dug a bit deeper for detection.

I wish ab levels and T-Cell tests were more able to be detected.

Finished decorating for Christmas. Brought out my Christmas coffee mug and bought my annual $5 Home Depot poinsettia. Think I may go all in this year and pull out the Cyclone Santa.

BTW, was at Menards yesterday to buy bird seed and saw the most pathetic poinsettias ever. Looked like the Christmas tree in the Charlie Brown Christmas specials. So bad I was shocked they would even try to sell them. The Home Depot ones easily meet the CF "cheap but high quality" threshold.

There are times at work when people will ask me a ridiculous question and I have to hold myself back from responding like this.

Science nerds. Here is a question. In my vehicle overnight I had two nonalcoholic drinks. A Powerade zero and an iced tea. Iced tea is a frozen brick, why Powerade is not. Why?

Freezing point depression baby! Colligative properties.

The salts (electrolytes) in the Powerade lower (depress) the freezing point. It works on a couple of variables, including concentration of stuff dissolved, and how dissociated it is (i.e. NaCl will produce 2 soluble ions, sugar will stay as one whole molecule).

Leave it to someone with the handle "Entropy" to give the most coherent answer.
