***CFB Conference Championship Games Thread***

I think it's been pretty clear since week 1, Georgia is winning it all.

Hasn't UGA been in this spot before though or close and screwed it up?

I mean I guess if they lose it's just them and Bama in the Top 4 but this is quite the opportunity.

Looking at Georgia's schedule, it makes no sense they could be in with a loss. Clemson is their best win, the SEC east was simply not good. They have no wins vs anyone currently in the top 20. Why does that never get talked about?

Georgia, Notre Dame, then maybe Ohio State and Baylor?

Or they keep Bama in there.
In that scenario, it seems like Baylor will be guaranteed a spot. The other spot probably depends on how Alabama loses. If they lose a close one, they're probably still in. If they get blown out, things start to get interesting with teams like Ohio State, Iowa, and Alabama all having a decent argument.

I think it's just because no one else would really deserve it either.

Yes they have been, but they just look different from any other team this year. Maybe I'm wrong.

#13 jumping into the 4 requires a dart board at some point.
Eh. I don't think it's that simple. If Iowa wins, they will be conference champion in a league that will likely have four top-ten or twelve-teams and is probably the best in college football this year. The difference between #13 and #4 simply represents how little of a chance the media and committee think they have to win today.

Someone with a higher voice (@ChrisMWilliams) should remind ESPN this is the conference they tried (are trying) to kill. What a game, what an atmosphere. Both teams will leave everything on the field. Regardless of what happens, the hateful 8 won as a group.
