So the Bear “brain trust “ has made the decision but will let him coach this week? That makes no sense.
The Bear brain trust is stuck in the 1960's.

Ahh, crap..... Campbell is going to the BEARS now?!?!?!?
Everybody is better than the Queens.... except Detroit.Still better then the Queens. And the Bear uniforms are classic and awesome. Everything you said about Iowa is true though .....![]()
Annnnnnnnnnnd 2hrs after I post this:Oof Jason Garret isn't doing much from the looks of it in NY either.
You continue to impressI mean unless the McCaskey and Halas families are all together on an airplane that goes down over the Pacific, is it really going to matter?
Shut your filthy mouth!I think if they go the college coach route it’s Ryan Day
That's never bothered CF from discussing things before...This doesn't seem confirmed

Kliff comes to mind.I think the chances of a college coach with no prior NFL experience getting a head coaching job there is slim and none. VERY few NFL head coaches had zero NFL experience before getting the job.
Urban Meyer.I think the chances of a college coach with no prior NFL experience getting a head coaching job there is slim and none. VERY few NFL head coaches had zero NFL experience before getting the job.
Of course it’s happened. It doesn’t mean that’s not the exception and not the rule. That’s why I said very few, not never.Urban Meyer.
Cliff Kingsbury
Chip Kelly
there's more but there are probably three of the more noted ones.
I wouldn't hire one if I were running an NFL front office but its happened
Him and Urban were only ones I could think of right away.He at least played in the NFL.
Fair but I think its happening more or teams are more open to it than before. If you look at the last 10-15 years, there's been way more or so it seems than before than. I only mention Mullen because he seems a guy more suited to the NFL where he doesn't have to be a rah rah guy or deal with recruiting.Of course it’s happened. It doesn’t mean that’s not the exception and not the rule. That’s why I said very few, not never.
