Bears fired Nagy

Still better then the Queens. And the Bear uniforms are classic and awesome. Everything you said about Iowa is true though ..... :p
Everybody is better than the Queens.... except Detroit.

I wonder if Bieniemy will be the guy? Been a hot name, but Nagy was also from the Andy Reid coaching tree.

You continue to impress

Why do you never answer questions?

But since you live in Chicago, remember, do you think ownership is part of the answer?

i mean since you’re there in the city, what are they saying on 760? What are the local media saying? Can you give us the update from the ground there in Chicago?

shocked if true given the Bears rarely, if ever seem to make a change in season.

Also, Dan Mullen might be interesting. Great play caller, hated having to deal with recruiting, mentored Dak Prescott, Kyle Trask, etc.

I think the chances of a college coach with no prior NFL experience getting a head coaching job there is slim and none. VERY few NFL head coaches had zero NFL experience before getting the job.

Kliff comes to mind.

Urban Meyer.
Cliff Kingsbury
Chip Kelly

there's more but there are probably three of the more noted ones.

I wouldn't hire one if I were running an NFL front office but its happened

Of course it’s happened. It doesn’t mean that’s not the exception and not the rule. That’s why I said very few, not never.

Fair but I think its happening more or teams are more open to it than before. If you look at the last 10-15 years, there's been way more or so it seems than before than. I only mention Mullen because he seems a guy more suited to the NFL where he doesn't have to be a rah rah guy or deal with recruiting.
