I think this year has kind of made me realize we need to adjust our expectations of Campbell. He's definitely building a very, very solid program, but he's also probably not going to overcome the built-in disadvantages when coaching at ISU like we'd maybe hoped.

A trick playbthat works if we handed the ball off?

His reverse worked in the second possession, as did his wr pass against osu. He's had good luck with trick plays this year... You can't just hate on him and forget the times it's worked.
Lol. That didn't work, unless you are happy with 4 yard gains where there was a high probability of getting picked off.

Why do you bring in Deckers to run a trick play in the first place?

I’m sure OU didn’t suspect something was up at all when they saw Deckers in there.

That play did not work. A 5 yard floater back to the QB that should have been picked off is not exactly a success. Just because it didn’t fail (which it did anyways) doesn’t mean it’s a success. The reverse you men toon was also blown up in the backfield but Hutch broke the tackle. His WR pass against Texas was a great call but that’s the only time I’ve been pleased with him.

First half was total encapsulation of the season. Some awesome potential, a number of moments where you go “what is happening”, and more beating ourselves than OU winning. Even if the trick play works, why are you calling that right there?!?

5 yard pickup is a good gain on first down.. We get that every forts down we win. So yes. Success.

his interceptions and fumbles have caused this team multiple close loses.

But would their record since he’s played be anywhere as good as it is with another QB we’ve had on the roster? Not even close. It’s just tough to see that with this OL we’ve reached Brock’s ceiling.

Anyone else quietly excited to turn the page on the Purdy giveaways next year, but basicslly ashamed to admit it?

Only if they’re really ******* stupid

So I’m sure that there are a lot of people here that feel that way.

Man... You need new expectations or you will always be disappointed. 5 yard gain I'll take all day on early downs.
