At this point I don't think I'd buy anything else other than a Toyota/Lexus. Have had great luck with them; other brands not so much.

Looking to sell my truck sooner rather than later. Just too expensive and it might be worth more now than when I bought it. Would there be any issues trading it in with money owed on it yet?

No, they will take the balance off the check they give you. Carmax is super easy to sell to. I sold my 2020 ascent for $2000 more than I bought it for in early 2019.

It’ll be interesting if scarcity becomes the new normal

This is why the monthly offers I was getting from Audi about trading my car in for $XX and putting me into a brand new Audi for only another $XX are now offers to buy my car outright. The offers have gone up from $17K in August to $20K in their email today.

I bought my AWD Audi last spring and the used price on that vehicle is now comparable to what I paid for it brand new. Ridiculous

I have had a 2013 Kia Soul since 2015. Never had any problems, just routine maintenance. Works for me. Like the boxy, high ceiling. Bought it with < 20K miles, now has about 50K.

Have to wonder how long this will last. If ever there was a time to consider going down to being a 1-car family, it might be now.

I am driving a 2007 Toyota Camry with 252,000 miles. Super reliable vehicle. I have owned Hondas, but honestly think Toyotas are a step above.

Honest question here, I was looking to maybe trade in my 2017 F150 because of the high value of trades. I can't get a dealership to just straight up give me a general quote. I'm not looking for something exact, just a ballpark figure within 1-2k.

Basically I've always driven cars until they are worth basically nothing in the past so I've never actually shopped around to try and get a good trade price.

I've never sold a car privately, ever.

Anybody have some tips here on how to find out what it's worth and sell it? Thanks,

Let carvana, vroom, carmax give you bid on straight buy out. Good luck on finding what you want.

Have had a Mazda of some sort for a decade. First a Mazda 3 Hatchback which I loved. A few months ago upgraded to a CX-5 and love it.

Our 2014 Honda CRV was bulletproof till totaled this summer (got hit while sitting at a traffic light). Replaced it with another one.

Holy cow I've had a single month that I've driven nearly that far. Well your trade in value should be amazing if you ever want to part with it.
