What things go on for homecoming?

This may sound like a dumb question, but what is it that brings more people back for Homecoming. Do people attend additional events? Is there something that makes it extra fun on gameday? Honest question, ive never been to a homecoming game

The alumni band plays at the game. Otherwise nothing much. I'm sure there is some stuff if you really seek it out, but generally the gameday experience is the same.

I don’t remember much from the 4 I was at, except one where all the parties got busted after I’d pay $5 for a cup and get one fill; that ended in my drunk girlfriend dragging me to the party on, literally on, Welch.

I think it is just a popular game for alumni living out of state. Allows for reunions of sorts.

Other events for homecoming include a parade downtown, fireworks and pancakes on central campus, along with frat/sorority homecoming displays.

I don’t remember anything that happened during homecoming week when I was there except yell like hell. The drinking and sex were just another day ending in Y.

I think the Greek system may hold some homecoming events. Otherwise, it's not a huge time for events.
