I clocked it...

Have you been on Cyclone fanatic in the past 48 hours? My reaction is on the lighter side, if anything.

"You're a piece of sh!t, but be nice to the guy that is OLDER THAN YOU!"

Give me a break TX. You're such a whiner. It's annoying.
A whiner... for sticking up for the players. LOL You do you, 4L.

You mean, have I come to rip apart a 20 year old trying his best for my university? No, no I did not.
I used to think this way. After the NIL ruling passed, I now think it's fair game to critique college players. They're getting paid to play, whether that's through NIL or just scholarship money. Ticket holders and boosters are the ones paying that money, so they have a right to critique it if it's not living up to their expectations just like they would any other service that is paid for.

I wouldn't hold my breath that a back-up will be better. It's possible, but it we had anyone clearly better, they'd be playing already.

That's my worry too. You'd think if someone better was around, Dunn wouldn't be punting.

Just feels like the staff still believes this experiment will come good and Dunn will be amazing. But after 2+ years, I think the dream is over.

The only reason I'm against Mevis punting is because I don't want to risk injury to our reliable 40+ yard FG and Out-of-the-Endzone kick off kicker.

How many punters get injured a year? If your not playing a better option for fear of injury thats incredibly weak. This position has cost ISU MINIMUM 2 games the last two years, and the Iowa game this year was a clear example of two fairly evenly matched teams that one got destroyed almost soley due to the difference between punters.

Who cares? I’m still not going to shlt on a kid trying hard for my university. And anybody who does is a piece of shlt.
Why do you consider suggesting we need a change at punter shitting on a kick. If you listened to the podcast you'll hear Williams say they have to go with Mevis.

I'm can't remember what his name is but the guy that is always warming up next to Dunn after the half seems to have a better punt almost every time. He doesn't appear to have the longest punt but he seems to have consistently good hang time. I'm curious as to why he isn't getting more reps? Unless he folds and kicks worse in the moment of a game. Regardless, I'm not sure it can get much worse and why we aren't trying something different cause what's taking place right now isn't working.

Maybe the mechanics vs. the rush don't go as well with him (which would contribute to a worse kick like you alluded to).

For kickoffs ISU might as well just pooch it like they did in the Fiesta Bowl if the coverage is that bad.

I'd take a 30 yard punt with no return every time over what we've been getting.

I agree, but Mevis was already limping in the UNLV game after a kick off (which is why we saw someone else kick it out of bounds on the next kick off).
