Joy Springs, now that's a name I haven't heard in decades. Flashback time. Back in college I took my grandmother for ride out there and to EWALU in my 1968 MBG, top down with Esther wearing a scarf like it was a buggy ride. Well, she was born in 1895 so was a buggy era and than a Model T era gal.

Richmond Springs is named after my grandma's family somewhere as they owned the land that the spring is on way back when.
Guessing the local police/firepeeps are getting tired of responding to my neighbors. They've been there twice this week and maybe three times prior in the last year, all late or mid-evening. Folks are in their late 80's and hubby has Alzheimer's.

Good eats in the hood this evening. Maybe the last sweet corn of the season which is sad but I've eaten a ton-o-corn the last month. Did take a nibble out of the corn before plating it. 
Yeah, I’ve definitely got AARP stuff in my 20s. I don’t think they’re picky about when they send that out.

also, this is petty but I hate the part of the Notre Dame marching band in kilts. Mostly because they don’t actually play anything or have flags but just walk around

I bought a raspberry cheese cake slice this afternoon as comfort food since I was anticipated we were going to lose and I would need something good as a treat. Some steak, some more corn on the cob (store was not out yet), some wine, some more wine, dessert, and more wine.
