Driving to Vegas tomorrow afternoon from Salt Lake City. Should get there just in time to check in to Mandalay Bay, have a few drinks, then hit up the late Absinthe show at Ceasars Palace. Can't wait to see the Cyclone invasion in Sin City!

Left MSP this morning.... 25% of the plane in ISU gear. Flight attendants said "Go Cyclones" when we landed.
Just talked to the Godfather of ISU athletics (JP) at the pool bar. Great turnout in vegas !
Dang, wish we had gone out today, instead of waiting until tomorrow morning and coming back Monday.

It was only 103 today with 5% humidity. I don’t care this hot is hot even at 5% humidity.
I'd say I'm sweaty, but there isn't time for the sweat to stick around. I'm just a goddamn salt lick at this point.
So is cremation. Spent 5 days in Phoenix recently. 110. Wind. Felt like someone pointing a paint removing heat gun in my face. No thanks to that crap. Nice place Oct to April then get the heck out.
Just had dinner at Jessie Raes BBQ…a hole in the wall place just West of Allegiant Stadium…damn fine ribs by the way. Lady asked what was up with all the Iowa State fans walking around!

Just took the Allegiant Stadium tour. Highly recommend it. It’s pricey, but there is so much to see. Awesome Raider artwork all through the private areas you won’t see on Saturday. Also locker rooms (Raiderettes, UNLV, Raiders). Oh, and a few cool trophies.
