Seriously another damn near shut out by Heacock and the defensive side of the ball given up by a turd of an offensive showing and play calling at times... hell I know I received a suspension here for calling out Prohm a few years ago like this but it is more then time for this.. the offensive issues against UNI and then Iowa today as well as other big games have always been questionable at best.

I highly doubt we fire him mid season, BUT if we only end up with 7-8 wins and those losses are on the offense then it’ll be time to move on from him.

campbell has earned the right to call his own shots and he's been willing to fire Toledo guys (the old strength staff) if he thinks he should.

But I will say this, god forbid if Campbell leaves after this year, you don't ******* hire Manning as his replacement.

He just seems to have no idea how to orchestrate a game plan. One that builds on itself, with certain plays leading to other plays, and setting things up for later in the game. It feels like he’s just scrolling through the playbook and throwing stuff against the wall hoping something sticks.

We have a Heisman-caliber running back, the most decorated QB in school history, a supposedly 11-deep offensive line the lines of which we haven't seen perhaps ever, and arguably the best set of TEs in the country. And in spite of all that, Campbell wants to be Ferentz-Lite, keeping scores in the teens and forcing his defense to bail him out, over and over.

It doesn't add up, and there's no reason for it.

And a lot of times it's been questionable calls as well like a 3rd and 2 and we try to run deep routes instead of giving it to an all American back?

That’s something you don’t do at this ******* level!! It happened to Rhoads hiring his buddies with no previous experience and Campbell did the same ******* thing!!

Iowa State doesn't have to look like '20 Bama or '19 LSU. But it sure as hell could look a lot closer than what we've seen rolled out the past two weeks.

I made this thread last year and got crapped on. Thought about bumping it but didn’t. His leash is getting shorter and shorter IMO. I think he’s the reason we lost today. Absolutely pathetic and predictable playcalling, not to mention line play wasn’t exactly stellar today (like Schweiger missing 3 blocks in a row).

Edit: I also think that Brock was instructed to stick in the pocket today or to cut down on the scrambling because multiple times he had a wide open running lane he just didn’t take. The conservative garbage has got to stop, especially early in the year.

I swear to God, it feels like he's stuck in 2003 when he calls a handoff inside the tackles on every 1st down. Breece should get a lot of work, but the touches he's getting are doing him no favors.
