Since they still have the webcam on, I thought I would share another screenshot from the start of the game:
I have to say, as nice as the hillsides looked covered with lush green grass, it pales in comparison to a beautiful carpet of cardinal and gold!

For everyone at the game… how did the north endzone look? Did the stadium ‘feel’ different? Basically, what were your impressions?
I thought it looked clean, enclosed and much better. Cool to see people standing up on the walkway watching people come in. Looks better from outside than in, but an improvement.
There wasn’t a semi there, but a trailer of some sort. One that would be pulled by a pickup. I just glanced quickly as I was walking by, so maybe I missed something. I was fairly drunk at that point.
Gal scanning tickets when asked how things were going…. Not good. Bright sun trying to see people’s phones, people with paper tickets, people not being able to find their tickets on their phone (BIL didn’t realize the UNI game was the only ticket he didn’t have in his Apple Wallet til he got to the front of the line) had to be really frustrating.
We don't have a semi. That's WAY outside our budget. We rent a couple box trucks for equipment and take medical stuff in a enclosed trailer behind a pickup.
Barcodes on phones on a sunny day will likely be an ongoing problem, and I do not foresee some type of canopy being constructed at each gate to make that procedure any faster. We had no issues getting in or out, but it did seem a bit slower getting in. I was surprised at all the concession offerings, though. I never eat that stuff, but I was surprised to see so may open concession areas. But I assume those were still quite slow.
The "Iowa State Cyclones" and logo decals on the Jake windows have been horribly faded for years now; I wish they would just remove them entirely or at least replace them.

SIAP, but was that a new ticker/stat ribbon/or whatever you call it inside the stadium that posts stats/advertisements/other games? Well 7/8 of the time you looked up at it, there were games that were in action or even over and NO SCORES were posted. Just the two teams playing each other. Whats the use of having it if we can never get score updates.? Was it not working or what's the story on that? I realize its minimal in the scheme of things so I'm just asking the question or making an observation more so than complaining. Everything else at JTS looked sweet to me.(except the 'going to a dentist for a root canal' type game that played out-lol)
Pretty simple solution. When you walk up to the ticket scanner, turn your back to the sun.
This was my worry. It doesn't pop as much as I hoped on the TV crowd shots. I was really hoping for more of a bowled effect. It still looks like an open entrance, albeit, much cleaner and eye pleasing.
