I hope we’re up 21-0 with two minutes left against Texas. Brock runs for a first down to end the game, right in front of a cameraman on the Texas sideline, tosses the ball to a ref and gives the double horns down tonthe Texas sideline on his way to getting in victory formation.
I imagine we will see a fair amount of horns down on gameday next week. Hopefully it shows Texas and OU what they get to look forward to playing in the Big12 from now on. Perhaps it'll lead to more favorable exit fee negotiations as they try to leave the hostile environment earlier.
Iowa does the Gator Chomp in their crowd, so this makes a little more sense.

I remember OU crowd doing the horns down at the Championship game last year in Dallas…even though OU was playing us. I didn’t get it then- and I didn’t get it Saturday when our fans did it.
All that matters is that we put 3 in a row on those losers. I don’t think they should live rent-free in our heads like they do at OU.

Texas is a greedy school that doesn’t care about anyone else and is putting our athletic department’s future in a tough bind, but you’re going to call the horns down derogatory and not bash on Texas for what they did? Lolerskates.
It is the definition of derogatory...I assume no one is doing it to show their love for Texas. I'm sure the actual decision makers in Texas are going to see it and change their minds about leaving if everyone does Horns Down when they are playing non conference FCS opponents.
BTW, I am not picking on you just replying to the last of many posts that think I invented calling the sign derogatory.
It be best if people would rock the wrongs down symbol next week when game day is in town. It’s be a thing of beauty to see 20 or so Texas flags upside down, 100 or so horns down shirts and everybody throwing a horns down in the background when they have the crowd behind the guys talking in the morning.
No reason to give more money to that school by purchasing legitimate merch. Will just make them richer.
Hopefully Tess and G-Mac can call that game, as G-Mac did a 'Horns Down after he took the final knee in the BCS Championship Game vs. Texas in January 2010.
