We are in A3, and KC and Lew found us a couple of years ago :) I'm home today and was last Wed. with a little under-the-weather thing, only way to explain it. Hoping I'm seeing the end of whatever it is so I can mentally prepare for this game. We're wearing masks at ISU volleyball and in stores again, even though I see fewer people overall doing that. Not looking forward to more of the same.
@ImJustKCClone ok, so section D for you. My ticket says section 2, so at least I’m on the same side! I’ll try to come find you guys!

@Ms3r4ISU is A3 a parking lot or stadium section?

Met niece and Montana kids at playground near me, they are driving to Iowa again. Good spot for the boys to burn up some energy. Playground had an obstacle course with a timed 40 yard dash. Watched the boys run it and was thinking I should race the 8-year-old. I mean what could go wrong to a guy turning 70 in a week wearing boat shoes on a hard AstroTurf surface? I was guessing pulled hamstring and hoping not a blown achilles but had to risk it.

Worth it, won by 1/2 a step. ;)

Was the winning strategy to jump the start, tug the jersey, or a little bit more of a bump and run strategy?;)

I noticed he no finish and poor form. :D He's now just a little too old to just let him win. I was afraid to run 100% myself, only partly joking about blowing something, not something I'd ordinarily do cold. Probably couldn't have beaten the 11 year old. LOL, my 40 yard "sprint" pace is what I ran for pace 35 years ago doing 1/4 mile repeats training for 5k/10k.

A tv classic

We used to help organize & plan an annual free Thanksgiving community dinner through our church. One of the last years we were involved, PETA threatened to picket us and publish negative press about our efforts to celebrate the "carcasses of dead birds".
Our pastor did an interview with them, and told them that if they would like to donate tofurkey, we would serve it alongside the turkey & ham that had already been donated. A woman from several states away got wind of it, and sent us two tofurkeys. True to our word, we served it on the line. NOT ONE person took only a slice of tofurkey. Most had the turkey or ham, and asked for "just a taste" of the tofurkey. As we were clearing tables between diners, we found that nearly all of the tofurkey had been left on the plates...even those that were food insecure wouldn't/couldn't eat it.

I tried one bite. Never again.

2nd ear infection in a little more than a year. This one hurts like a *****. Left work early, might not go in tomorrow.

Ouch. I probably get one every 2-3 years. I’ve actually stopped wearing earbuds at work and switched to over the ear headphones. Seems to help.

I know when Ive had to wear earplugs a bunch at work I can definetly tell that my ears are getting sore and irritated.

Yeah, I’m guessing that was the problem. Going to need to switch it up. This is the most pain I have been in in a long time.
