Random Thoughts 15: Crystal Clear 2021 Edition

I'm going to drop out of the conference realignment threads, there is nothing the common fan can do anyway. Also my fan allegiance is to ISU not what conference we are in. I loved the Big 8 local teams long term rivalries. The B12 is fine but it's not worth the effort to hand wring over something I have no control over.

Yeah, the common fan doesn't have much singular affect on college sports in general, but in this we are all just along for the ride.

Best we can do is hope that whatever the end result, JP has put us in the best possible position.

Getting dark out like it's going to rain, not just Canada smoke haze. Checks radar and it might be actual real rain, at least a little bit. Both shocked and giddy.

I get the feeling this person has bullied their way through every class they have taken. Wonder how many instructors have caved?

All of them. When I mentioned that I only had difficulties with one person to the one I subbed for, she knew immediately who, listed off the same things (before I mentioned what the troubles were) and said "I was just too busy to deal with them."
The department chair is her advisor. I recommended simply having her take it again. Offering this was his deal. She pushes him around a lot.

We're "arguing" whether NBC News videos and YouTube videos count as primary sources for an event 100 years ago. Since she loves videos, I sent her one, and then spelled out that we can do this right or she can fail.

But yeah, she's done this to all of them and it works.

We had some rain last night. I'm not sure how much but the streets were wet when I woke up this morning. Also, there is actual real rain happening right now.

Turned out to be fake rain. Not even enough to wet the pavement completely. :(

Even day so I CAN water tonight. Think I had better. Not the lawn but will water my shade garden and hosta nursery.
 
Okay anyone that is looking for me tonight we won't be arriving until 5:30-6. I am wearing a red Oshkosh shirt.

This precipitation line is in a weird spot. In Maple Grove, we got a decent amount of rain and there are still some puddles in our parking lot.

Hopeful that you can soon make that last word past tense. And then add "No more."

Oh and supposedly there will be a BBQ Food Truck on site as well.

Oh #2 I am bringing a couple of ISU chairs so if you see those you will likely have found me but I also expect to be wandering around.
