2021 Stock Market

I don't know how you hold through that 37.66 AMC dip, I'd be out by 50. I'm not made for memes

Depends on your cost basis. That $37 price is still going to be there potentially when we’re back at it full capacity. Also, very few shorts have covered…they’ve actually been adding.

Here is a perfect example of why I choose the S&P500 for my retirement accounts. In my play account, I sell all the good stuff and hold on to the dogs.

The AMC attack is coming from INSIDE THE HOUSE. **** that CEO I’m out now. I’ll enjoy my tendies half way to the moon.

Should have held on for another 2 hours! LOL

To illustrate how f'd up traders of that stock are, they may be the only company that massively diluted shareholders and the price still went up. Fundamentals haven't meant **** to this point, why would a secondary?

Is anyone getting in on the Krispy Kreme IPO?
Interesting one to ponder. I'm not sure. The U.S. is getting more and more health conscious, Dunkin Doughnuts is a monster of a competitor. Although.....Krispy Kremes crush and are pretty consistent quality wise.

One I have my eyes on for Monday is AAU - Advance Auto Parts. for a stock buy. Justifications:
- massive chip shortage has less cars available for purchase, more Americans going to have to spend to upkeep their existing cars. This all plays into AAU's favor to increase sales and growth.
- more americans finally putting miles on the cars again driving to work (I know I am). This means more purchasing at car parts stores.

Every day is a good day to buy ATNF, especially with that Friday close, a 10k filing this week and investor conference Thurs. Not as good a day as when I was buying in at 5 and 7 but still better than a month from now.

Do they have many agreements with dealers/auto repair shops? Seems like when I was growing up a lot of people did simple repairs themselves, now it seems like everyone just takes it to the shop even for simple things.

Only one problem with that thesis. When those people trade their cars in, dealers will recondition them before reselling them. If anything, you'd see fewer repairs because a dealer is going to replace brakes that are 25% while the owner is going to try to get them to last for another oil change or two before doing so. Some people will put up with a lot of things being wrong on their own car...but not so much on their replacement vehicle.
