You're right, my bad, I saw TH and immediately thought it was Tyrese.
Even THT had some late 1st round projections though.... I'm not seeing any of that for Carton.
When he was drafted in the second round more than a few said he made a mistake.
I’ll admit I was one of them. But I’m proud as hell of him now and hope he maintains some sort of relationship with ISU.

I never got the feeling THT bled cardinal and gold but he came here when he had a TON of offers.

I do too, but not optimistic about it. He had beef with some of his teammates and his coach is gone. He was in Ames for probably less than a calendar year of his life. We'll be lucky if he isn't telling us what High School he went to instead of college when they announce him in starting lineups in the future.
I think his relationship with Tyrese will help to maintain his ISU ties.
NBADraft.net had Carton as the 32nd pick in the 2022 draft, figuring he wouldn't leave this year. I'd imagine that still means he will get drafted.
This years PG class is pretty weak as well. After Suggs there aren't really any other great PGs available (depending on how you classify Cunningham and Mitchell).
Well, there is a good chance he spent it all and is close to being broke if it makes you feel any better. Hopefully that was not the case, but sadly, it happens a lot with athletes like him.
