With health and the Big 12 falling off a little. Not out of the question.

PG w/ Hunter could be a BIG upgrade
SG could be a 7th year player. JCL was our best player from Feb onward
Wing/Stretch: Jaz and Hinson would be VERY large increases from Javon Johnson
Center: Having a healthy Foster would be amazing

Also get Conditt into a system with a pass first PG. He THRIVED in that system before Hali got hurt last year

Bench includes 3 starters from the 2020/21 team.

We'll win some conference games next year. That's gonna need to be good enough.
That's not a complaint. You just don't just from 2-22 to the bubble. 2-22 wasn't an accident.

7 games were 2 possession games. Very easily could have been between 6-9 wins, if we can get a competent ball handler and rebound at Otz's normal rate (Last 4 years, Otz's teams are #17, #6, #28 and #62). Prohm was over 250 in rebounding since 2017 and over 300 in 3 of the last 5 years

I would bet the under but we could get 5 or 6. 6 conference wins would be a home run piece in the rebuilding puzzle.

At the end of the day. I just want to see the team improving. My #1 goal for this program is to make the Des Moines site for the 2023 tournament. #2 goal is the 2024 site in Omaha.

In my opinion, that should be the goal for this off-season. How can we get to a high enough seed in 2023-2024 so that we are playing "home" games in round 1 and 2.

A roster with the cornerstone pieces of Tyrese Hunter, Xavier Foster, Tamin Lipsey and Omaha Biliew would be a great start. Otz needs to do what he has advertised. Lock down these stud Iowa recruits coming up here in '22 and '23 and land a couple other big name recruits in the midwest.

OK so Biliew likely strong no to want to come to ISU, but who knows for sure, only a sophomore. He is ranked what #1-5 (?) player national as overall and as PF. Harrison Barnes was #1-2 ranked player also when Jr/Sr, right?

So which High school team was better? Ames with Harrison Barnes, and Doug MacDermott; Waukee with Omaha Biliew (sophomore), Tucker DeVries, and the Sandfort brothers?

Feel free to throw in any other IOWA High School Team, Hoiberg's Ames Team; Ames' '72-73 Team (Schneider, Burgason, Caroll; others?
