WVU transfer Tykee Smith

Chemistry and culture above all else however he has a bit of a checkered past.
Just curious. Are you familiar with Isheem Young’s “checkered past”? I think he does okay with chemistry and culture at ISU.

To denigrate some other young person who might have turned their life around seems hypocritical, disingenuous at best.

His own coach asked him to leave the program. He was a third team All-American last year. Connect the dots! Pretty telling if Neal Brown felt his program was better off WITHOUT a player of that caliber and talent. Clearly caused issues for their program off the field. Those are the facts. Im not sure how stating facts is hypocritical or disingenuous.

Because insisting on assuming that a player would definitely be a “culture” problem based on hints and innuendo, when his hometown friend who committed a freaking robbery is not a culture problem at ISU, is inconsistent with reality.

Congratulations. You really worked to earn that emoji.

That totally aside from the fact that Kirby Smart will have better knowledge of the actual facts of the situation than we do, and still took him.

R-E-L-A-X buddy! Take a deep breath! It is going to be OKAY. Are you this kids father or something? I never INSISTED he would be a culture problem. The fact of the matter is he was DISMISSED from the West Virginia football program a mere WEEKS ago due to conduct detrimental to the team. That is a pure FACT! How in the hell is that "hints" and "innuendos"? It is concrete fact. The West Virginia head football coach told him to pack his bags and leave. You think his character changed overnight? All I said is I'd prefer not to take that gamble. I'm not sure why you are so worked up.

Tykee's issues were while he was playing for WVU. Like, during a game. Young's were pre-ISU.

Ding ding ding! Young's issues were OFF THE FIELD and unrelated to football and the football program. Smith was dismissed for being a horrible teammate and locker room problem. You have to be a huge pile of crap to be a third team all American and have your head coach downright tell you its time to hit the highway we are better off without you. Big difference!

Paul Rhoads said it best in an interview with CW a couple of years ago. A strong program can take on a few jack ass locker room issue type players. You take on too many of those types of players it can quickly snowball and you've got yourself a jackass farm!
