Plus we own Hilton South when we bring a team down there that has a pulse. That town loves Iowa State, we have a lot of alumni there and it's a Big 12 city that is easy to get to Ames

Yes that’s assuming the rumors of Bolton to be true, but JCL can technically stay another year and we can go over 13 scholarships legally due to COVID messing stuff up.
I didn’t list him bc I would be shocked if he ended up coming back.
One experienced pg to train w/Hunter, one SHOOTER guard, and one SCORER/Shooter wing.

Not 100% sure what the staff’s thinking. Will we be able to get a quality / okay older PG that wants to come off the bench? Where does that leave Walker?
We need shooters. JCL was fun to watch last year. A guy who can fill it like that will be perfect. Unless he comes back then that’d certainly help.
I think we for sure take another wing with some size.
I don’t know if we’re done taking posts. I think we may make a push for another stretch 4 or a true 5.

Could be that TJ is slow playing guards because Hunter still seems to be evaluating his options.
My guess we would go after a couple taller combo guards that are best suited to play 2/3, but can also play some PG. I'd still like ISU to pursue Paxton from Indian Hills, he seems to be a grinder in the paint.

Forward: Foster, Conditt and Jones
Team really need to put a full court press on some scoring guards. 4 spots left. Not 100% sure anymore that Caleb Grill takes one.
Of the guys we have shown interest in. I'd love to go get 2 guards. (Locke or Richmond since 0% chance we both) Other guard would be between Tyem Freeman from Indian Hills and Mason Madsen (former UNI target at Cincy).
That leaves 2 spots open. I'd love to go get another stretch forward who can guard 2-4 spots with comfort and rebound. Either Chris Payton or Jamal Cain would be welcome additions.
Final spot goes to best available player. Tanner Groves would be a HOME RUN bun everyone in the country wants him. Wouldn't mind another ball handler to take pressure off Hunter

This would be a huge get. I really like the guards they are after in Richmond, Madsen, Elvis and Cain.
