At least my day didn’t end up like this.
Hard to grasp the scale of how freakin big that container ship is, 400 meters long and carries 20,000 20' containers.

I believe it’s still stuck.I'm thinking that was a expensive mistake.
Read an article recently about how COVID has really screwed up the entire supply line. At the time it was written (just a couple weeks ago), the writer reported over 100 ships lying at anchor near Long Beach, CA just waiting to be unloaded. Also many shipping containers being sent back to China empty, whereas they would normally be full of grain.
And so it goes.
EDIT: Here's a link to the article:

‘I’ve Never Seen Anything Like This’: Chaos Strikes Global Shipping (Published 2021)
The pandemic has disrupted international trade, driving up the cost of shipping goods and adding a fresh challenge to the global economic recovery.www.nytimes.com
There is a local Grilling and Smoking store that has product sitting on one of those anchored ships.
Yup, and thanks to the internet, you can monitor its progress.I believe it’s still stuck.
My phone started going crazy after I "cracked the glass" by dropping it. Took it in to the shop to see if I could get the screen replaced. Turns out I had only cracked the screen that protects the glass, and a tiny shard of it had become wedged under another part of the screen protector, and was constantly applying pressure to the keypad. Very frustrating, but very easy fix. I still have the phone, 18 months later. Lew laughs at how fat my phone is with the otter on it, but women don't have pockets big enough for phones anyway, so might as well protect the damn thing!Drat.
Dropped my phone while trying to lock the door this morning. (I would like to apologize to my apartment neighbors for that at 3:33 in the morning. It hit the metal threshold, and made a way too loud noise)
Anyway! My phone screen is already beat to hell from it dropping out of my pocket at the JTS parking lot Homecoming 2019. But now, I've got an annoying line that cuts right across the second row of my keyboard. I think if I can get through one more month, I qualify for an upgrade.
Won’t need to season that meat, it will have the special rotting meat tang to it.

The dirt piled up in front of the boat in the bottom picture kinda tells me it is hung up there also. Personally, I would have cleaned that area first or now you will have to clean as the ship is breaking loose and pushing. Here's a couple of closer pictures.

I know nothing about ships, but I suspect they are stuck for a while.

Just seeing those stacked containers makes me think of "Deadliest Catch" and their crab "cages." Everything has to be just right or everything will be lost. Here's a couple of closer pictures.

Actually, I thought it was funny, but I really like the disgusted look on the animated monkey pirate's face so I had to post this.![]()
One article said a gust of wind may have pushed the ship sideways and that they were experiencing 30mph gusts. That seems fishy. Here's a couple of closer pictures.
