Whose to say he wasn’t planning to? He’s been the coach for 3 damn days.
Agreed! You have to put the most important things first. Things that are going to be here. That is, setting things up for his family to move, finding a staff, identifying quality players, and I'm sure a hell of a lot more things.

And they’d probably be contacted by the owner.
Key word. Probably. Not owners are all the same. This isn't your business, this is TJs, if it fails, it's on him and those who hired him. TJ knows that, so if he is prioritizing his time elsewhere, then that's his choice.

This is just fine. If we thought he was good enough and wanted him we would have made him a priority. Hopefully he finds the right school and we find a better player for that scholarship.

And it’s our choice to disagree.

“Hey, it’s nice to meet you, I just wanted to introduce myself and see if you hand any questions you wanted answered, in the meantime, I’ll be spending the next week evaluating players and coaches to decide on our future moving forward and will be speaking with you more at length at that time.”
Fair enough, I see your point but that's not exactly how things work in the real world outside of college basketball either.

This is the business getting sold and new ownership going another direction.
And the business has a head man that has become the new ownership before so knows how this works, and also only has staffing in the teens as well as multiple national websites and news organizations that have tracked all of the the future employees that both prior parties have agreed to work for the company.

No one is calling for TJ to be fired over it. No one is calling for Nunn’s scholarship to be honored. It was clearly a bad decision by someone that should know better because he’s been through this before, and the amount of hoops some of you are willing to jump through to defend it is weird.

Oh come on.

If I was committed to a school and the new head coach didn’t call me for 3 days, I’d be pissed.

We need a culture change. A big reason for Prohm's failure was too many kids like this who didn't really want to be here and put in the work. I'm done with the whiny crybabies. Give me some dudes that just want to play ball and get after it instead of being drama queens.

Yikes! TJ had better have a VERY good replacement for Nunn already lined up or this is a horrible look and fail.

If he isn’t able to keep Hunter committed, then he’ll be off to a horrible start at ISU.

Also, if he’s willing to basically let Nunn go, then he will hopefully also be willing to let a couple of current players on the roster “go” too IMO.

Duh. There is a reason why this guy was available in the spring to commit to a coach who was clearly dead in the water. He wasn’t highly sought after. Well be just fine.

It seems like some of our fans actually think the best way to rebuild from Prohms dumpster fire is to keep pretty much the same roster in place. Cmon man!

Tyler is freaking out. Dude take a 5 minute break.
Got a dog that just had surgery so I am just lounging today and doing nothing while I make sure he stays comfortable and doesn't hurt himself. Gotta have something to do!
