I’ll hold off judgement on Tre until he plays under a coach that actually has an offensive system. Prohm letting Tre jack up a three whenever he wanted wasn’t good for his development IMO.

Caleb has gotten better. Usually there’s a big jump between sophomore and junior year and hopefully he has one.

I won't.

That is why basketball should be compared to climbing a mountain.
Generally a slow methodical process.
But when a snow storm is about to hit, or the sun is out, time to haul it.

With Wayne Morgan it was "this isn't football it shouldn't take that long"

With GMAC it was...."trust, patience, this is a process, we aren't Duke"

With Fred it was...."he has no experience.............woops, he did it"

With Steve....."why aren't we in a final four yesterday"

Now it's back to......"trust, patience, this is a process".........still waiting for the......"we aren't Duke". I'm sure it's coming.

Super funny if it wasn't sad.

Honestly I believe Tre would be playing on every big 12 team for at least spot minutes. His defense and hustle is so good, and I have to believe that shot will start falling. The number of times he rattled out is insane.

I feel like Tre would fit in great with the style KSU and WVU play.

His role has been awful lol. He should be in the DJack role where he comes off the bench and is usually left wide open because the defense is dealing with the more talented prices.

In the role Tre had under Steve, he played a ton of minutes and was forced to create a ton for himself which just isn’t his game. He’s a spot up shooter.

I’d have to think most rational fans figured TJ would be the most likely candidate. The biggest knock on him last time around was no head coaching experience, which he now has.

What does he bring that is different than Prohm? Prohm could bring talent here too - didn’t he bring in something like 3 of our top 5-6 recruits in history? Two of his guys are getting serious NBA minutes. Coaching was Prohm’s issue, not recruiting. Hopefully TJ is different in that.

He shot 27% from deep this year ... no amount of hustle makes up for that poor of shooting.

Coaching was no doubt an issue with Steve, but so was recruiting and development. There was an unbelievable drop off from the high end talent and everyone else.
