Scott was right. The Hoiberg knob slobbers wouldn’t have given any coach a fair shake unless it was TJ.Yeah I believe the rumors are that Scott did discourage him from taking it to not be the guy who follows Fred.

I’m not sure TJ wouldn’t have been subjected to that either unless he really didn’t skip a beat.Scott was right. The Hoiberg knob slobbers wouldn’t have given any coach a fair shake unless it was TJ.

You may be right. The difference being had he done exactly what Prohm has done, he would be getting much more credit for the first 3 of 4 seasons because....well.....he's T.J.

He's doing badly this year at UNLV and he is making 1.1 million a year.Would TJ even want the job at this point?
Was it a mistake to get rid of McDermott. If he had stayed and his son had come to ISU, would we now be a national power? Did we do well by having him leave? What about Prohm?
If TJ is the next coach, he should be eternally grateful that I wasn't the one following Hoiberg.
Boy, you are going to be disappointed in a few weeksHard pass on TJ.
I hope you are bullshittingBoy, you are going to be disappointed in a few weeks
I'm not. If there is a change, it won't go further than him.I hope you are bullshitting
If true, what a joke.Boy, you are going to be disappointed in a few weeks
If we hire him we’re waving the white flag and we’re going to be heading into mediocrity for the next few decades. Only Jamie Pollard would do something so stupid. If true, what a joke.
I think you are selling this job WAAY short. Iowa State is a much better brand than it was when Orr came here. We have great fan support and the Big 12 is an alluring conference for basketball play.
Are there better jobs out there? Sure. But bringing up Boston College, which has no basketball tradition or history, as a potential "better geographical fit" makes little sense. There may be other factors which could make that true (like being in a metropolitan area) but nothing on the immediate surface.
Maryland just tied for the Big 10 championship last year, how is Turgeon under pressure?
