Sean Foster Staying!

There is going to be some awesome competition for playing time on the o-line. Everyone will be better for it.

This is great news! A year with coach Andrews and this O line is going to be even better than it was this year. I also saw the speedy wr from OU Rambo is entering the transfer portal. I wonder if we try to get him? I hear he is possibly going to Baylor because his high school coach is there and he is from there, but I wonder if we try? I think we need someone who can take top off defense even though I'm not sure if deep downfield accurate throws are part of Brock's game.

I would rather have Tre'Von Morgan from Michigan State or Ricky Smalling from Illinois. Depending on Kolar I say take both since Morgan is 6'7 230 Pounds.

The other guys

Oh man, if we got him this team would be NASTY.

On this WR talk, whoever comes that Cambell and Co. want and approve of is good with me.

If the big fella improves as much as he did from last year, he will contend for post season honors. He is a great example for the young guys to keep believing and keep working.

T- Foster
G- Downing
C- Newell
G- Schweiger/Simmons
T- Remsburg

Give them a full offseason with Andrews, I can't wait to see how the line plays next year.

good lord, that is nuts....I can’t imagine Simmons not starting after what he did this year but I see your point here

need depth on the line but this is crazy

Scates was a similar recruit and has a similar skill set to Rambo. He needs to take a leap. If we pursue the transfer market heavily I'd presume it'd be defensive interior line and safety (pending decisions still from Eni, White, Eisworth)

Eisworth has made it known he is not coming back. He pretty much said it when talking about Dekkers continuing on his legacy as #12

Sean might have made the biggest jump up from his junior to senior year I have ever seen at Iowa State. The only guy I think compares was Oliver Ross.

yes, great post, doesn’t look like the same player at all, truly a joy to watch his progress

When I predicted that Foster would start our first game, I took crap from some of you. Truth be told, I knew he was going to start, but didn't want to come right out and say so. I'm so glad that he has had such a good year.

One thing that hasn't been mentioned is how much he seems to be enjoying it. There is a great tone in his statement about coming back. And often on the field, he seemed to really enjoy it when we scored or made a big first down. Another example of player-driven leadership!
