I get it but with how bad dozens of talking heads were sh*t talking us, I think it’s not the worst thing in the world to make sure everyone knows they were wrong.
I stopped following them earlier this year. If any wide reach ISU satire handle gives of the “little brother syndrome” vibe for Iowa State fans, it’s Barstool ISU. For satire Iowa State Twitter, follow WRNL.
Coastal Carolina had a chance to play in 0 bowls in the 1900s, 10s, 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and 00s.
It's a really stupid thing to post. They've only had a team for 20 years and only an FBS team for 5 years.

Iowa state went 8-3 in the 70s and didn't get a bowl invite. Not fully understanding how special of a season it took to get a bowl invite prior to the everybody gets a ribbon generation isn't due diligent.
It's Barstool, so pretty much on brand. It's devoted almost solely to talking trash. Pretty sure it's college kids running it. Most of the college barstool accounts troll the other schools' barstool account.
All barstool accounts for every school are pretty terrible. They all put a bad name on the universities they represent.
I am not a fan of Barstool ISU, but I have no problem talking smack back to Barstool CCU (and some media members) based on some of the things they said.

It's off the charts pathetic and silly, especially from a team with ISU's bowl history which is not good by any measure.
Talking smack is fine, talking smack that a team hasn't won a bowl in year five of FBS existence when ISU has won 4 in 100+ years is really dumb.
Come up with some actual good smack that makes sense and doesn't make us look like morons.

Agree. The media will never hesitate to dunk on any team in the Big 12. The bias there is obvious. A lot of Big 10 homers, Nicole Auerbach at The Athletic being one of the most obvious. A real shame that their G5 darling lost to another G5.
That was due to an odd situation where we waited to see if the orange bowl played out and when that didn't happen, we were left at home when lesser teams had accepted an invite before we knew what was going on.
Which was in no small part due to how few bowls were actually available.
