12/23 - 12/24 Weather Thread

I was merely explaining why the poster used the mixed capitalization and alternative spellings. Just truthfully answered a genuine question.

Naw, you were being a ****, and so was the other person. My bad I don’t have a great knowledge of weather and high temps during the day. Usually the high temp is as the day progresses but not with the cold front coming and I didn’t realize it it. I don’t know why instead of just helping someone understand something quickly they just turn to being a ****, but what you gonna do.

Actually here in Des Moines it hit the high of 52 F at 9 AM. We did not reach the high temperature for the day at midnight last night as was forecasted. It was below 50 F at midnight last night.

This reminds me of the storms that would come through Mason City.

Grew up in rural Iowa.......this reminds me of making the trip home from the school many times after basketball games. Would go no faster than 10mph....maybe, and learned to keep an eye on where the solid yellow line was located on the edge of the road and not to try and find the dotted line in the middle. During those conditions that dotted middle line disappeared. And NEVER use your brights!
