Why not publicly try to book a Game against OSU in Columbus this weekend? Take the CFB playoff out of the committees hands by beating OSU then OU back to back.

I would love to play that game and think about how torqued Nebby would be. But will never happen.

Big 10 won't change their non-conference decision. But make the offer, let them turn us down, and enjoy the pub. Would be a classic JP move.
I'd rather concentrate on winning the Big 12; however, the result of your scenario would no doubt be a spot in the CFP.
If anyone thinks we have a legitimate shot at getting in ahead of a 6-0/7-0 OSU I think your sorely mistaken. I look at it as this would be our best chance to actually get into the playoff as it puts the destiny in our hands. The team is playing well and is healthy right now. I would rather take the shot when it’s this close to be in the playoff then sit back knowing we won’t get in.
That would guarantee the winner a spot over us, don’t see the advantage
And the other wins and we have no way of jumping them? We need to either beat them or massive upsets to jump either team, not quality wins by anyone else in the race.
Hold on. Ask yourself, in a normal year how many teams could beat OSU at OSU and then the next week play and beat Oklahoma? the answer is not many in back to back weeks. we are good but I think we let this work itself out.
