I'd kick him off the team and suspend him from school for a week.

He's a senior and this is probably his last game. I wouldn't give him his varsity letter

Not sure if true but saw someone say assaulting a ref in Texas is an automatic 3rd degree felony charge.
Kid needs help, not a felony on his record.
There has to be a punishment for the behavior though. I'm sure he needs treatment because that's not a normal behavior, but you still have to hold him accountable.

What the hell is that kid thinking? Charge him with assault. Kick him off the team. No chance any college team would take a chance on a nutcase like that. I hope he doesn’t mind being finished with organized sports for good.
What's the coach on the right doing in that video? Running onto the field but apparently not in the same direction to try to grab that player
