Yes, ‘Buc’ beer night still exists. Is "Buck Beer Night" still a thing?
Fan experience is great. Honestly, one of the best sporting events to attend in Central Iowa.
IMO, part of the charm of Bucs games is the dingy old arena. The ambiance is awesome. But this new one will be amazing for the team and community.I think this will be great. I’m not a big hockey person but I’ve been interested in going to the Wild games some. The problem is going downtown to a poor crowd isn’t great. I haven’t really been interested in the bucs because it wasn’t a nice arena. This will hopefully be a great middle ground option.
I know it was for a group of people and I hope they keep that charm but I think a lot of newer younger people didn’t go because of that. I can much easier see my friends just randomly going to a game now.I'm definitely going

I will only get on board with this if they put a Shakey’s where Old Chicago is/was.

That facility is now TaxSlayer Center. These mid level acts that could play at the US Cellular Center in CR or whatever the Mark of the Quad is called now.
yeah the fun of the Madhouse on Hickman will sorely be missed for the old time hockey ambiance and feel. we've always gotten tickets in row 12 along the west side usually in sections 8-12. I always use the AC ducts as a noise maker.. but damn I can't wait for a new arena..IMO, part of the charm of Bucs games is the dingy old arena. The ambiance is awesome. yep my mom and sister have had season tickets near one of the host family's/boosters for a few years now. have heard of a few of the talks/rumors about the situation the last few years..FWIW, the derecho may have been the final nail in the coffin, but this has been in the works for a couple years now, with more serious discussions occurring in the past year.
This is a great idea, but I'll believe it when I see it completed.
