Friday OT #1 - Schlemiel Schlimazel

I've also started back on Saved By the Bell although I'm doing it kind of backwards as I started with the College Years. I am enjoying it due to nostalgia factor, but that show does not hold up very well. As I'm now more mature I find myself realizing even more how crappy a person Zack is.

I can still enjoy Saved By the Bell. It was always ridiculous but it kind of knew it too.

Agreed on Zach. The 'Zach Morris is Trash' stuff on YT definitely highlighted this.

Cheers has been popping up on a retro channel.

Cliff and Norm dialogue is some of the best stuff ever.

We love Frasier and Everybody Loves Raymond. We also wish there was a channel out there running episodes of Cheers. There probably is, we just haven't found it yet.

We are also getting ready to start re-watching the entire GoT seasons. Perfect for wintertime viewing.

Cheers is on Hulu, Peacock Premium, and CBS All Access

Quincy, M.E. I watched it as a kid. I binged a couple seasons on Netflix. I want Jack Klugman's Quincy in charge of COVID mitigation! Some of the themes are a bit dated, but it still holds up.

Man that's classic. It's been so long since I even thought about that show, and it was old when I watched reruns of it.

Same with Rockford Files

Thanks so much to @CycloneRulzzz for this suggestion bright and early this morning!

What is a show from awhile ago that you enjoyed that you are enjoying again or what is a show from the past if you had time and access would like to watch again?

This one isn't going to knock anyone over or anything, but I had originally stopped watching The Office after Michael moved to Colorado. At the start of quarantine, I started over from the first episode and watched all of the way through. It holds up so very well.

I've rewatched the OG seasons of Arrested Development several times - but I've only seen the second-to-newest season once, and not the newest one at all. I need to rewatch those.

What have you got?

Cheers still holds up relatively well. My better half is too young to remember that show. I was watching reruns recently and he started watching a few and said 'how old is this? it's actually really funny and holds up well for being 30 years old.'

I think there is a universal appeal to Ted Danson? He's just an affable guy - I just loved him in "The Good Place," and he's not usually a guy I even consider, if that makes sense? He just seems like he'd be like a warm sweater friend - comfortable and not obtrusive.

I wish Northern Exposure would get picked up by a streaming service. it was a quirky show with interesting characters that I enjoyed.

I was really young when it came out, but I LOVED it! It was such a good show - I loved the oddballs.

I think Larry David would think otherwise. This is of course a reference to Curb Your Enthusiasm which I watched for the first time this summer as I never had HBO growing up.
