I don't disagree. My question is more, why haven't they already called? He took Minnesota to an 11-2 season with a marquee bowl victory. I know some of that was the schedule and some luck. I count four big-name program coaching hires in 2020: Florida State, Ole Miss, Washington, and Mississippi State. Is PJ loyal? Or did the phone just not ring?

I am guessing the $10 million buyout was a big reason for no phone calls.

The thing I don’t like about Fleck is that it seems like his schtick overshadows the school he’s at. Minnesota are basically the “boat rowers” now, not the gophers. I’d have less of an issue with it if it didn’t follow him school to school, but him doing the same thing everywhere seems dumb to me.
