Okay, lets rank 'em after your win over OU ...

I question whether Oky State really is the top team in the conference right now. They may be undefeated, but their wins so far are against Tulsa, West Virginia, and Kansas. I like our chances against them.

ISU would be rated around 15th if they would have won that game. At some level I agree, that loss will not hurt ISU bowl chances, if they keep winning.
You're probably right. We might be a "2020 COVID Top 15" team where a couple conferences aren't playing yet, but we haven't played at a "normal Top 15" level yet. Maybe just starting to scratch "normal Top 25" given all the dumb penalties. But I'm optimistic because we just beat probably the most talented team on our schedule. I think we're no worse than 50/50 in every game the rest of the year. I might amend that as the season goes on but right now I'm full Kool-Aid ahead.

Tulsa just beat #11 UCF.

well we know Kansas sucks, I just like saying that. Not sure on West Virginia yet since it’s early, Tulsa seems to be pretty darn good. So Okie State is probably the favorite to win it this season but I still don’t trust any result so far since teams are still trying to get their groove on this season.

1. Iowa State
2. TCU
3. Oklahoma State
4. Oklahoma
5. Texas
6. West Virginia
7. Kansas State
8. Baylor
9. Texas Tech
10. Kansas

Not buying Kansas State. Their win over Oklahoma reminds me of some of our past big wins where we rallied from down big and won because of a bunch of turnovers.

Oklahoma State is undefeated but overrated.

Don't sleep on the Mountaineers pulling some upsets.

Oklahoma will get better as the year goes on but it might be too late to have a chance at the conference title.

Texas is the same as they've been since Mack Brown left. Talented but not special.

The Louisiana loss for ISU was partially a product of ISU's traditionally slow starts and the schedule being weird this year with only one non-conference game. I think the Cyclones beat Louisiana if they play an FCS team and Iowa first.

If ISU makes the Big 12 championship game, I don't want to play TCU or Oklahoma again.

So, you're free to rank the teams yourself? I've not seen oSu ranked anywhere below first after Saturday's games except by some homers here who must be wearing blinders.

It’s really not that crazy to think OSU isn’t #1. I guess since they are 3-0 and nobody else is you could put them there, but they still have ISU, TCU, KSU, OU and Texas. I’ll guess they will lose a couple in that stretch.

I’d put them 1 for now though.

1. OSU
2. ISU
3. TCU
4. KSU
5. OU
6. Texas
7. WVU
8. Baylor
9. Tech

10. KU

The last thing I care about, this year, is bowl games.

They will have them simply because the butts in seats are not really part of the $ equations. I'd assume payments might be less, but then again, sponsors probably end up paying less to sponsor. And, most bowls already are socially distancing given the ticket sales. Maybe you see some of the bowls being played in bigger stadiums in order to "fit" more people in. It will be interesting...

6 weeks huh. Who do you play in 7 weeks . . . . oh wait, that would be ISU.
I don't think it even matters that much...I'm planning on him playing and being 110% but either way we can never just simply beat KSU. ISU has to come into the KSU game like it's a street fight in which any penalties are disastrous.

And Oklahoma was unanimously ranked 1st in the Big 12, so what does that tell you? I'm just saying it's a little early to claim OSU is the best team in the Big 12. As I said earlier, I like our chances against them.

Well, I would like to see ISU in a bowl game, fans or not. The situation is far from ideal, but if games can be played, I see no reason to not plan bowl games
I'm OK with that. I just don't care at all about any bowl. I care about the conference race 100%. I will watch the bowl game but I see them for what they are.
