MLB: 2020 Chicago Cubs Season Thread

7 pitches to get 3 consecutive ground outs he needed. Could be huge to strand that runner at third.

Top of 5th quite an adventure but kept that shutout. Seems like the rain really stopped?

Welp, this one's on Ross.

I literally turned it on to see Single, Single, Home Run to lose the lead. I'm not allowed to pay attention, apparently.

100+ pitches and keep him into the 7th? ross has no confidence in bullpen. one fu##ing run off of the marlins? This series is over. This team is over.

Ross got double burned that inning. Pulled Hendricks too late, wasted Jeffress for no reason. Jeffress' peripherals are really catching up to him.

Not that the offense is doing us any favors..

Our bullpen has been very good. There is no way Ross does not have confidence in them. I was OK sending Hendricks out for the 7th because its Hendricks, but he should of been pulled at the first sign of trouble.

Hopefully Theo is hard at work retooling our offense for next year by kicking the tires on some way-past-their prime veterans....

"This offense is broken and in need of a complete retool"

::Immediately signs Hunter Pence and Alex Gordon::

Even after the homer I think it was the right decision.
