It doesn't have to. You must be a student to play Penn State sports, all students are required to sign or not attend fall classes.

Shall I continue to connect the dots for you?
Does that "document" cover for Penn St. athletes that get covid from sports?

If some ACC schools don’t get there **** together it will cancel as well..

Syracuse players not practicing until they get tested and results bc SU is only testing every other week!! WTF!!

How can these conferences not have zoom calls with ADs abs lay out a consistent protocol that ever school follows???

Gorm

With any luck we will be there by Tuesday.

now you're getting it.

Easy question, does that "document" cover for Penn St. athletes that get covid from sports?

If a student athlete signed such a document and it was presented as evidence against them in a lawsuit, it would be an interesting court decision for sure.

On that note, has there been any court decision on "COVID Waviers" yet, since this whole thing started?

The thing is, if we lose even one coach or player (not ISU but all of college football that plays this year), then the Big 10 probably made the correct decision.
How does that work if a player gets sent home and contracts the virus at home and dies from it? Does that mean the big ten made the wrong decision?

Same folks. Maybe a different way of expressing it, but the same folks.

I think COVID is serious. I also think if kids are going to be on campus for class, the risk in playing football is only marginally different than living in a dorm.

Hope Not, I want millions of views on Iowa state football.

Hope we can build our brand during this time. Lot of talk about ISU on national media, mocking the BIG 10 how one team in the state is playing and the other is not.

Even Qwaks will be forced to watch ISU football. :D

Some form of national testing protocol would have been nice to be able to plug into this sort of situation and adjust accordingly.

What in the world is the NCAA going to do about scholarships next year? Will the teams not playing be allowed extra scholarships? Would they have to allow extra scholarships to all schools to be fair? What if the seasons get cut short for those who play but they pass the game allotment allowed for redshirts? Will the Big 10 and Pac have to force kids out to free scholarships for recruiting? This is going to get interesting regardless of if there is a season or not, but especially if some have a season and some don't.

Every single day we are gong to to see the Athletic and SI pumping out anti football in the fall articles..all day..every day on twitter.

pretty much word is out from big and pac presidents to help with their cause of cancelling..

Btw..that German observational study that the PAC drs used for Covid cardiac issues that apparently set pac 12 and big ten over the edge is a laughable study to use for such a big decision..

Im not saying Covid can’t cause cardiac issues...but a college athlete is at prob far less risk than the general obese public.

Intramurals are still going on in big ten but by god we better cancel football.
