My contribution on the subject.
Single shot with wide angle lens, long exposure, processed in Lightroom, barn is light painted with cell phone light.
Taken 7 days ago.
I agree, there was a lot of crater detail on the very narrow crescent.
Another side note: With Jupiter being near opposition its moons are easily visible with binoculars. I picked up Callisto, Ganymede and Europa (Io was hidden) while out last night.
We've tried to see it in Urbandale over the last 5 nights but haven't been able to spot it even on clear nights - light pollution probably the culprit. But some cool pics in this thread!
