***2020 CF Olympic Games***

I will have results shortly. I wanted the players to do the random number choices for me so they could think they controlled the outcome.

Game 4 FINAL Results
With 8 players left I didn't overlook the possibility that the game would end with yesterday's votes, but here we are.

There were technically SIX eliminations of the eight remaining players yesterday.

First, 2015 was eliminated for not getting a vote in on time (he sent one in, but after I had already asked other players for their tie-breaker information).

Next, the duo of Doc and spiker were eliminated for both voting Cubs, thereby exceeding the 20% rule.

Similarly, the trio of Velo, Cubs and 20eyes were eliminated for voting for 2015 (37.5% is higher than 20%).

An argument COULD be made that since Cubs was one of the people who received >20% of votes that he should not have been eliminated, but le COC decided that he should be eliminated for being a part of a group that voted someone over 20%.

Also heading home today is Rulzzz, posting a high random number of 92.

Get me numbers by like 6pm or as quick as you can. Maybe we can finish this today.

With 8 remaining, 2 people will be voted out.

If anyone receives 3 votes all the voters go home on this one.

Remaining:

20eyes
Spiker
Cyfan
Doc
KC
Cubs
2015
Velo
I have a problem with your ruling based on this post

Antarctica brings up a fair point.

Both Antarctica and Russia survived after reviewing the official list of proclamations from le COC.

The 4 remaining players are:

cyfan
Doc
KC
spiker

Apologies for those involved in the random numbers and rock / paper / scissors last night.

le COC wants these Olympics to be fair and realizes that Game 4 has seen a lot of different rule changes as we've gone. So thank you for staying on top of this.

You should all know that KC and cyfan had a good game of rock / paper / scissors going that might never have ended.

Using the wording you had there

If anyone receives 3 votes all the voters go home on this one.

It mentions All voters go home. It is not really specific. It could be concluded that 2015 wins since he was a non-voter. It is ambiguous, and a very murky proclamation. The fairest way would to have a complete do over with those eight and fully set out the rules.

I know I'm messing with you, but I'm bored (and drive people nuts with my astute reading of contracts and wordings :) )

At this point, there's no rule about too many votes on one person, correct?
I think on Monday we'll finish this with a big game of rock paper scissors.

Each of the final 4 will send in their choice.

If choices are split 1 / 1 / 2, then the people in the "2" position will move on.

If choices are split 0 / 2 / 2 then whichever pair is in the natural winning position will move on.

If choices are split 0 / 3 / 1 then whichever grouping is in the natural winning position moves on (or in the case of the 1, wins).

If things go 4 / 0 / 0 it's a redo.

Every iteration of this will involve second rounds to determine medal positions.

I'm still alive. That's all I care about.

Also: I don't understand this. ANY of this.
