NO FANS AT CYCLONE GAMES?

Incorrect. It will be nursing home residents, medical providers, and the well-connected

Sure but high school level and below kids will be priority as well so we hopefully stop school spread if they are even in school at that point. I just don't see how this thing doesn't explode by early September with schools going back and knowing how stuff spreads in schools.

hell myself and coworkers are pretty damn sure we had it back in February.. all the symptoms of it. negative on strep and flu... sickest I have ever been for a few weeks..... doc said probably an unknown respiratory virus at the time..

I'm in the same boat. I went to a training out in California the first week of February. Flew back to Iowa and about a week later I was sick. Figured it was the flu so I stayed home for a week. Still had a raspy cough and chest congestion 3 weeks later and went to the doctor and they said "we've been seeing a lot of this - the cough can last anywhere from 4-6 weeks." I got put on a steroid and about 2 weeks later I was back to 100%. During that time my wife also got sick and so did 1 of my 3 kids.

also requiring masks to get in. I believe Iowa State will send out a map of what seats are full. You can look at your seats and decide if you want to move away from them this year or not.
I guess if they are gonna force me to wear a mask just to get in I better order a thin blue line mask

Are you sure a don’t tread on me mask or a confederate flag mask might not work as well?

No matter what our opinions are regarding wearing masks in public, can we all agree it is funny to see someone driving in there car by themselves wearing a mask. Every time I see this I just laugh.

I've actually done this on accident because I just forgot to take it off after I got out of the store.

ha! I don’t like wearing mine so as soon as I can, I get rid of it.

tell that to Houston.

I think its early for Jamie Pollard to make decisions now, there is still time to watch and evaluate.

yes, some of the states and areas that have larger test cases should be watched but they are not a threat to overrun the healthcare system. Lets do reasonable things to restrain the virus without destroying our economy, but lets also have honest, reasonable analysis afterwards about what really caused the numbers.

Based on the information Houston hospital CEO's are giving, Houston is barely exiting the no concern zone and just now entering the beginning of moderate concern.

You must have missed where the Texas Gov put a stop to elective surgeries in like 5 Texas counties because of space issues at hospitals.

Seems some medical folks (but perhaps not all) are showing a bit more than moderate concern.

Cannot agree. I am old and have asthma but am now doing the grocery shopping for a younger neighbor who was getting ridiculed both in person and social media for this. It is very difficult for him to get the mask adjusted with the hearing aids he uses for some fairly terrible hearing loss from his time in the military. He was combining his errands and going everywhere with the mask on so he didn’t have to adjust the hearing aids every time.

The governor may want to use extra caution but it doesn't mean we are in a crisis. I think the Houston hospital CEO's would have a good handle on their capacity numbers and what it means.
