Both Gach Transfer Target

mcdermott, to his credit, has learned alot and adapted and is a solid bball coach

I hope prohm can learn the same lessons before he moves on to his next school because i believe hes a good man and would like him leading ISU basketball moving forward if hes willing to make staff and strategy changes for sake of recruiting and development. 48-50 the last 3 years isnt working, so make changes to get better

Yeah, I love Prohm as a face of the program and the university. Honor before glory means something to me, too, and Prohm lives up to that.

McDermott proves a coach can fall flat on his face at the high-major level but learn from it and build a nationally-recognized program, like Creighton is.

Given Creighton is in the Big East, too, he is doing it at a high-major.

He is just running out of time, but obviously I think he knows that.

Its easy to look ahead to 2021 in June of 2020.

My concern is we seriously lack talent, and we're a last place team in the b12. no one will want another year with Prohm if that happens.

Cmon Prohm - overachieve for a season for once!

My hope this off season was Prohm remains the face of the program and does the recruiting and he would bring in a really seasoned Xs and Os guy.

I do not know what the right mixture of personnel would be, but I agree with you that Prohm needs a "defensive coordinator" and a transfer specialist.

He is a fine offensive coach, and he does well recruiting when he has time to identify talent and build relationships. The above two are his failings.

Agree whole heartedly. I also love that he usually admits when he's screwed up and hopefully he's working on his "blind spots". I love winning but I also appreciate how he's always put doing the right thing ahead of winning. We lost some games due to player suspensions which while frustrating made me happy Prohm was doing the right thing.

Well, ****...
Yup. 2nd place again. Seems like a recurring theme, but I hope it carries over to the Big 12, Big 12 tournament, and hell why not the NCAA tournament too?

I think you'd be surprised to know how many recruits we talk to and don't land in a typical high school recruiting cycle.

We've never even came close to ever missing on this many transfers in the past 10 years. It just shows that most transfers are realizing that prohm is a loser, and no longer wanna play for him.
