Top 25 power 5 coaches

I just pointed out that ISU has high expectations this year and that Klieman not Snyder would be a more valid comparative for coach Campbell.
We have had high expectations the last two years, higher than warranted, myself included. I just don't think a one year sample with Kleiman is a legitimate comparison. Not to mention the whole thing seems moot. No one program and its circumstances are transferable in a direct relation anyways.

I can't think of another school more like K-State than ISU unless it would be oSu. But the Pokes are more of a southern school while our two are Yankee to the core.

Our football programs have essentially tied over their 100+ years of play. Klieman and Campbell are both seen as pretty much newcomers to D1, albeit CMC had a few years in Ames getting it fixed while Klieman was winning championships in Fargo.

You're right though, direct comparatives are circumstantial at best. But to my eyes, ISU and K-State are about as close as it gets. Who else could champion something called Farmageddon? Ha.
